Audi India has launched 2020 edition of its premium sedan A8 L at a whopping ex-showroom price of Rs. 1.56 Crore. Audi’s flagship sedan will be offered only in A8 L 55 TFSI variant in India. The long-wheelbase version of the A8 sedan comes with various class-leading features along with striking new design and futuristic luxury experience. The car can be personalized with over 54 exterior color options.
The vehicle comes with dimensions of 5,302 mm in length, 1,945 mm in width, 1,488 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 3,128 mm. The all new A8 L is based on the MLB Evo platform and is powered by a 3.0L petrol engine which produces 340hp of power and 500 Nm of torque which enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 5.7 seconds. The engine is mated to a 8-speed automatic transmission and comes with Quattro all-wheel drive system.
The A8 L now boasts of 48V mild-hybrid system enables the car to coast at speeds between 55 and 160 km/h with the engine off, thus allowing the Audi A8 L to travel with zero emissions for up to 40 seconds. The car comes with dimensions of 5,302 mm in length, 1,945 mm in width, 1,488 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 3,128 mm.
Towards the outside, the car comes with redesigned hexagonal grille with Matrix LED headlight with Audi laser light and the rear comes with wraparound LED tail light. It also comes with a sporty LED light bar at the rear. Towards the inside, the car comes with cockpit like features with plush interiors and leather upholstery. The car receives a large 10.1 inch primary touchscreen infotainment system along with a secondary 8.6-inch touchscreen for the climate control and seating functions.
