2024 Citroen C3: What’s new?

Citroen has recently launched the updated C3 hatchback in India, with prices starting at Rs. 6.16 lakh (ex-showroom). While the automatic variant is set to be released soon, let’s take a closer look at the new features that the car has inherited from the recently introduced Basalt edition.

Foldable Roof Grab Handles Although it may seem like a basic feature, foldable roof grab handles were previously missing from the C3 but have now been added across all variants. Both front and rear passengers can now benefit from this addition. Additionally, the rear window switches have been repositioned, although the base variant still only offers power windows for the front.

Feature Upgrades in the Mid-Spec Variant The mid-spec Feel (O) variant now comes equipped with Isofix child seat anchorage with a top tether and three-point seat belts for all passengers. This version also includes a ‘TESSERA’ full-wheel cover and an anodized grey deco instrument panel. However, dual-tone options are no longer available for the Feel variants.

Top-Spec Variant Fully Loaded The top-spec Shine variant is now the only one to offer dual-tone color options, with choices like Polar White, Zesty Orange, Platinum Grey, and Cosmo Blue. As the Feel Turbo version has been discontinued, features such as engine start-stop, ESP, hill-hold assist, and TPMS are now exclusive to the Shine trim. Additional features in the Shine variant include automatic climate control, powered wing mirrors, side turn indicators on the ORVMs, LED Vision projector headlamps, six airbags, and an upgraded seven-inch digital instrument panel.

New Connectivity App Citroen has also introduced an updated ‘MyCitroën Connect app’ for buyers, providing top-spec C3 owners with access to 40 new smart features.
