2025 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 launched internationally

Triumph has officially launched the 2025 Speed Twin 1200 range on the international stage, offering two distinct variants: the standard Speed Twin 1200 and the Speed Twin 1200 RS. Both models have been updated with a host of new features and enhancements.

The 2025 Speed Twin 1200 RS now boasts a refreshed design, including more pronounced cuts and creases, a new fuel filler cap, black powder-coated engine casings, a more compact exhaust system, updated LED DRLs, and a brushed aluminum bezel. The RS variant is available in striking black and orange color schemes, while the standard Speed Twin 1200 comes in white, red, and silver. Both variants also come with a selection of new accessories.

Under the hood, the Speed Twin 1200 range continues to use the 1,200cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, which has been updated with a new camshaft and refined tuning. This engine now produces 103.5bhp at 7,750rpm and 112Nm at 4,250rpm, representing a 5bhp increase from the previous model. Both trims are paired with a six-speed gearbox, and the RS version also features a bi-directional quickshifter for enhanced performance.

In terms of features, the 2025 Speed Twin 1200 models come equipped with cornering ABS, traction control, multiple ride modes, an LCD with a multifunction TFT display, and LED lighting. The RS variant adds an extra Sport riding mode for a more dynamic riding experience.

The suspension setup differs between the two models: the standard Speed Twin 1200 features non-adjustable Marzocchi 43mm front forks and twin shock absorbers, while the RS variant comes with fully adjustable units. Both models are equipped with twin front discs and a single rear disc, but the standard model uses Triumph’s in-house calipers, whereas the RS model is fitted with premium Brembo Stylema calipers.

Pricing for the Triumph Speed Twin 1200 starts at GBP 12,495 (approximately Rs. 13.80 lakh), with the RS variant priced at GBP 14,495 (approximately Rs. 16.01 lakh).
