The 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 has officially been unveiled, igniting a wave of excitement among Ducatistis—and us too!
As with every update, Ducati has gone all out on this model, leaving out only the Desmosedici GP engine. The list of enhancements is impressively extensive, with some features deserving of their own articles. So, we’ve distilled it down to the top five exciting new elements.
- 916 Inspired styling
- The design of the 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 draws inspiration from the iconic and legendary Ducati 916, embodying its subliminal allure and world-conquering spirit.
- They’ve also incorporated innovative aerodynamic and ergonomic features inspired by the Desmosedici GP.
- A newly designed central air intake is cleverly tucked beneath the chin, while a wider and longer seat offers enhanced comfort and space for the rider.
- The revamped fairing decreases aerodynamic drag by 4%, creating a serene pocket of calm air for the rider.
- The double-profiled wings deliver the same level of downforce as the previous model, ensuring stability without compromise.
- The mudguard’s design has been refined to enhance airflow to the oil cooler, improving cooling efficiency.
2. Ergonomics
- The riding position has been designed to seamlessly integrate the rider with the bike’s aerodynamics, enhancing control and overall performance.
- This revision creates a more spacious feel, and the deep recess at the top of the tank prevents any interference with the helmet’s chin guard.
- The rear section of the tank, in conjunction with the side covers and the seat’s shape, provides enhanced support for the rider during braking, cornering, and entering turns, allowing for a more secure grip.
- The footrests have been repositioned 10 mm inward, resulting in increased ground clearance and enhanced aerodynamic efficiency
3.Chassis
- Francesco Bagnaia clocked a lap time of 1m35.8s on a Panigale V4 during the 2022 Race of Champions at Misano, just 4 seconds behind his 1m31.8s record on the Desmosedici GP.
- Ducati Corse set new stiffness targets for the frame and swingarm, prompting Ducati’s engineers to enhance the frame’s lateral stiffness. This adjustment ensures optimal grip even at lean angles exceeding 60°!
