Mahindra XUV700 diesel variants account for 77 per cent sales in May 2024

Mahindra recently revealed its sales figures for May 2024, showcasing the performance of its popular models. While we’ve already detailed the numbers for the Thar on our website, this time, let’s focus on the XUV700’s performance last month.

In May 2024, Mahindra sold a total of 5,008 units of the XUV700. Of these, the diesel variants were the more popular choice, accounting for 3,845 units, while the petrol variants saw 1,163 units sold. This means diesel variants comprised 77 percent of the total sales. Comparing these figures to the same period last year, Mahindra sold 3,739 units of the diesel and 1,506 units of the petrol XUV700, respectively.

Regarding production numbers, Mahindra manufactured 3,675 units of the diesel XUV700 and 1,732 units of the petrol variant. This shows a slight change from May 2023, when the company produced 1,570 units of the petrol and 3,708 units of the diesel variants.

In addition, Mahindra launched the Blaze Edition for the XUV700 range last month, featuring a distinctive matte red paint. The brand is also working on a new automatic trim based on the MX variant of the SUV, with more details available on our website.
