Citroen C3 turbo-petrol MT real-world mileage tested

In July 2022, Citroen launched the C3 hatchback in India, initially priced at Rs. 5.71 lakh (ex-showroom). As of now, the price range for this model spans from Rs. 6.16 lakh to Rs. 9.12 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the variant chosen.

The Citroen C3 is powered by a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine available in both naturally aspirated and turbo-petrol versions. We recently tested the turbo-petrol variant, which delivers 109bhp and 190Nm of torque. This version is claimed to offer a mileage of 19kmpl.

In our city driving tests, the Citroen C3 turbo-petrol MT achieved a mileage of 11.7kmpl, with the MID (Multi-Information Display) showing 11.9kmpl. On the highway, it returned a fuel efficiency of 17.58kmpl, while the MID indicated 18kmpl. Combining these figures, we observed an average mileage of 14.52kmpl. Given its 30-litre fuel tank capacity, this translates to a range of approximately 435km on a full tank.
