BYD India has introduced its all-electric MPV, the eMax 7, at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 26.90 lakh. The vehicle is available in two variants with different battery options, marking a significant upgrade from its predecessor, the e6, in terms of both exterior design and interior features.
The BYD eMax 7 is offered in two trims: Superior and Premium, with 71.8kWh and 55.4kWh battery packs, respectively. The larger 71.8kWh battery provides a driving range of up to 530 km, while the 55.4kWh battery offers a range of up to 420 km on a single charge. In terms of performance, the Superior variant can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.6 seconds, while the Premium version achieves the same in 10.1 seconds.
On the features front, the top-spec eMax 7 is packed with advanced technology and luxury touches. It comes equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charger, air purifier, digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate, automatic climate control, six airbags, and a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).
