Mercedes-Benz India has officially announced the pricing for its highly anticipated E-Class sedan, one of the brand’s flagship models. The new E-Class, presented in its Long Wheelbase (LWB) format, is available across three distinct variants, with prices starting at ₹78.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Variants and Pricing

The sixth-generation Mercedes E-Class comes in three variants: the e200, e220d, and e450 4MATIC. The pricing for these variants is as follows:

E-Class 200: ₹78.5 lakh
E-Class 220d: ₹81.5 lakh
E-Class 450 4MATIC: ₹92.5 lakh

Delivery Timeline

Deliveries for the e200 variant are set to commence this week, while the e220d is expected to reach customers around Diwali. Deliveries for the e450 4MATIC are scheduled to begin in November.

The new E-Class draws inspiration from the luxurious S-Class, featuring a large superscreen setup that includes three individual screens. The digital driver’s display, measuring 12.3 inches, is a standalone unit, while the main infotainment screen (14.4 inches) and the secondary screen for the co-driver (12.3 inches) are integrated behind a single piece of glass.

Exterior Styling

The new E-Class has undergone several design enhancements, standing 13mm taller, 14mm longer, and featuring a 15mm longer wheelbase compared to its predecessor. The refreshed design showcases a striking front fascia, highlighted by a large chrome grille with an oversized 3D logo and numerous smaller three-pointed stars, all framed by a glossy black panel.

Powertrain and Specifications

The E-Class offers three powertrain options: a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, a 2.0-litre diesel engine, and a robust 3.0-litre turbo petrol engine. Each engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic gearbox and comes equipped with a standard 48V mild-hybrid system.
