2025 KTM 390 Adventure unofficial bookings commence
The eagerly anticipated 2025 KTM 390 Adventure is poised for its launch in India, with some dealers already unofficially accepting bookings for the new adventure bike. The latest iteration of the 390 Adventure was officially revealed at the EICMA 2024, and KTM India is preparing to bring it to the Indian market in three distinct variants: the X (featuring a low seat height), the standard version, and the top-of-the-line 390 Adventure R.
A Bold New Design and Enhanced Features
The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure comes with a complete overhaul, featuring a new design, an upgraded chassis, and the same engine found in the KTM 390 Duke. KTM aims to cater to a broader audience with the three variants, ensuring there’s an option for different preferences and riding needs.
The 390 Adventure R, showcased at EICMA 2024, is the most feature-packed variant of the lineup. This model stands out with a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire spoke wheel setup, offering excellent off-road capabilities. The front suspension is an adjustable WP fork, complemented by a monoshock rear suspension, providing a smooth and controlled ride on all terrains.
Top-of-the-Line Features and Tech
KTM has loaded the 2025 390 Adventure R with an impressive array of features, including all-LED lighting, a colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, and a quickshifter for seamless gear transitions. Additionally, the bike is equipped with advanced safety features such as traction control, ABS, and cruise control – a first for any adventure bike in this segment.
The 390 Adventure R is designed for serious adventure riders looking for top-notch performance and cutting-edge technology, making it a strong contender against rivals like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
Competition and Market Expectations
With its robust feature set and performance enhancements, the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure is set to be a fierce competitor in the adventure touring segment. The new model’s competitive pricing and the availability of multiple variants are expected to make it a popular choice among Indian riders looking for an all-rounder adventure bike. KTM will be aiming to capture the market share from competitors like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, positioning the 390 Adventure as a premium, tech-savvy option for those ready to take on new journeys.
