Maruti Suzuki commences exports of S-Presso

Maruti Suzuki has recently begun export of its microSUV styled S-Presso to African, Latin American and Asian countries. Launched in India during September 2019 at a starting ex-showroom price of 3.69 lakh, the hatchback is somewhat popular in India and has sold over 35,000 units since its launch. The first lot of S-Presso was loaded into the ship for exports from the Mundra Port.

Towards the inside, the S-Presso comes with a dynamic center console with a all digital display that includes digital speedo and comes with touch screen infotainment system and features over 10+ safety features, and gets front power window while the rear gets manual window.

The car is built on 5th-gen Heartect K platform and sports wheels of either 13″ and 14″. It comes with high ground clearance and is packed with safety features such as features ABS and dual Airbags. The car measures 3,665 mm in length, 1,520 mm in width, and a wheelbase of 2,380 mm. It comes with height of 1,549mm-1,564 mm and a comes with gross weight from 1170 kg.

This funky looking car compete against the likes of Renault KWID and comes with a BS-VI compliant 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine which is capable of producing 67 BHP of power at 5,500 rpm and 90 Nm of peak torque at 3,500 rpm. The vehicle is mated to 5-speed gearbox and is offered in manual/automated manual transmission (AMT) options. The vehicle delivers a range of 21.4 kmpl to 21.7 kmpl.
