Features
The new Skoda Kushaq has an edge over XUV 500 in terms of features. It boasts many features like the 10.2 inch infotainment system, Cruise control, ventilated front seats, climate control, wireless charger, in-car Wi-Fi, rear-parking camera, auto headlamps, sunroof, rain sensing wipers, etc.
On the other hand, Mahindra XUV 300 has a 7 inch touchscreen, smartwatch connectivity, GPS support, electric Sunroof, automatic headlamps, start/stop button, automatic AC, etc.
Safety
These SUV’s are good in safety. Both the cars have the basic safety features like ABS, EBD, reverse parking sensors, Driver seat airbags, etc.
Mahindra XUV500 comes with six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, reverse parking camera, hill hold and descent control.
Skoda Kushaq also gets six airbags, reverse parking camera, hill hold and descent control, brake assist, Crash sensor, traction control.

XUV 500 has a 2.2 litre engine while Skoda Kushaq comes with a 1.0 and 1.5 litre engine. The Skoda Kushaq has a max power of 147.5 PS compared to 153 PS of XUV 500.
Skoda Kushaq is available in Manual and Automatic variants, but only petrol. XUV 500 has a manual transmission.

The new Skoda Kushaq is available in Brilliant Silver, Carbon Steel, Toreador Red, Honey Orange and Candy White.
Mahindra XUV500 is available in Crimson Red, Opulent Purple, Moondust Silver, Lake Side Brown, Mystic Copper, Volcano Black and Pearl White.

Skoda Kushaq ranges from 10.49 lakh to 17.59 lakh. (Ex-Showroom). Price of XUV 500 starts from Rs 13.56 lakh and top-end model costs Rs 19.5 lakh (Ex- Showroom).
