Hot summer Thursday afternoon. Here I’m, roaming around the city doing some long pending chores of the home.Passing through Wakdewadi,frowning at the beauty of our traffic.Well, the exact reason of my unrest is the eagerness to get besides the JLR showroom, Ace Perkins Jaguar-Land Rover,on the route to catch a glimpse of whats inside. After a few achingly long minutes, I was standing in front of an F-Type behind a glass….
besides a plum-red Range Rover
…and a car-nut that I am, I wanted a closer look. So, in I go..
The Facility:
On entering, you learn that this facility can have 9 of the British beauties on display. Meaning, the whole portfolio of Jaguar-Land Rover is up on display.The showroom isn’t a 3S facility, but includes the used car section as well. For those who’d want more than just their cars from JLR, accessories like handbags,wallets, Keychains and collectibles like miniatures are available too.
The Color Pallet, or a wall with color samples for personalisation, for you’d want your Jaguar or your Land Rover unique, its all there! You can also check other accessories for your car like different designs of alloy wheels or Metal-Pedals for the car right there.
I was attended by Mr.Pritam Garad, who gave me details of the place. Walking around, drooling at the beauties, which this time were in red and black combination (more drool!), I could be here all day.! The Ian Callum-designed Jaguar F-Type, the mighty and graceful Range Rover are cars one must see up close, and you’d know, cars are more than just a transport medium.
