Exterior
The Limited Edition Q7 is based on the Technology variant of the line-up. It gets an exclusive exterior paint shade called Barrique Brown. The front bumper gets a faux skid plate finished in brushed silver, which creates a nice contrast with the body paint. While the front grille is identical to the regular car, there is a new sill trim that enhances the grille for an enhanced front look. Audi is also offering a high gloss package for the exterior. Enhancing the exterior, the wheels will be large R19 5-arm star style design alloy wheels.
Interior
The interior is draped in genuine cricket leather upholstery. Typical of Audi interiors, the Q7 gets a high-quality and tech-laden interior. It is equipped with smart features such as the Audi Virtual Cockpit and the Audi Smartphone interface (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto). The infotainment gets a 10.1-inch high-res display while the instrument panel gets an 8.6-inch display. Audiophiles are in for a treat as the Q7 gets a B&O Premium 3D sound system – sound playback through 19 speakers including 3D speakers, a center speaker, and subwoofer, and a 16-channel amplifier with a total power output of 730 watts.
Other features include a 4 zone climate control with an air ionizer and an aromatization system. Moreover, both front seats get powered adjustability while the driver seat gets a memory function. The rear seats get adjustable fore & aft positions and recline function. The third row gets electrically folding seats.
Safety features include Cruise control with speed limiter, Park Assist Plus with 360° camera and lane departure warning with steering assist, and 8 airbags to name a few.
Powertrain
The Audi Q7 limited edition is mechanically unchanged. It retains the 3.0 litre V6 TFSI engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system, making 340 hp and 500 Nm torque. The mild hybrid system enables the engine to be turned off for up to 40 seconds when coasting, saving precious fuel and adding to efficiency. Audi India claims a 0-100 km/hr timing of 5.9 seconds which is impressive for such a huge SUV. Whats also impressive is the claimed top speed of 250km/hr. Power is driven to all four wheels via the acclaimed Quattro All-Wheel Drive System. The Q7 gets 7 drive modes to choose from, namely Auto, Comfort, Dynamic, Efficiency, Off-Road, All-Road, and Individual.
