Fastest bikes in the World: Some really crazy lot of them

The Koenigsegg Agera R, Bugatti Chiron, Bugatti Veyron, Tesla Roadster are some of the fastest wheels on earth but only bike lovers know which are the fastest bikes in the world till 2018. Here is the list of some really fast bikes in the world 

5)Honda CBR 1100XX Blackbird

CBR is the performance brand of Honda and the 1100XX blackbird confirms it. The top speed of the bike is 190 mph which is achieved from 1137 cc liquid cooled inline four-cylinder engine. It can produce max power of 153 hp @ 10000rpm. The 0-60 mark of the bike is 2.8 seconds which is 0.8 seconds more than one of the world’s fastest car Tesla Roadster.

4) Kawasaki Ninja H2R

The top speed of the bike is marked at 222 mph, 32 mph more than 5th position Honda CBR Blackbird. Also, the engine displacement is less than the previous one which is 998cc liquid cooled 4-stroke inline, 16-valve engine. The max power hit by the bike is 193.7 bhp @11,000 rpm and achieves the speed of 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds.

3) MTT Turbine Superbike Y2K

This bike has the world’s most powerful production engine and why would it be not as it is Rolls Royce’s 250-C18 Turboshaft, coupled with a two-speed semi-automatic transmission. The top speed of the bike is 227 mph and it can surpass the 60 mark in the 2.5 seconds like Kawasaki Ninja H2R. Max power is 320 hp @ 52,000 rpm.

2) Suzuki Hayabusa

Yes, it is the same Hayabusa featured in Bollywood movie Dhoom but it not yet the world’s fastest bike. The maximum speed the bike can gain is 248 mph from  1340 cc Dual Throttle Valve engine. It can cross 0-60 mark in 2.6 seconds more than the no.3 position MTT Turbine Superbike. It has the second lowest rpm amongst top 5 fastest bike and the figure is just 6750 rpm and max power of 197 hp.

1)   Dodge Tomahawk 

It is superbike which challenges some fundamental definition of the bike as it has four-wheel and is quite bulkier than usual bikes. The bike is not certified in many countries and one among them is the USA. It has an 8277 cc 10 valve, four stroke engine which is also found in Dodge Viper. It can produce 500 hp @ 5600 rpm which is number for many sports cars. In spite of such tremendous engine power, it can go from 0-60 in somewhere between 1.75-2.5 seconds.
