Hyundai adds 11 EV charging stations across India

Hyundai India has bolstered its public charging infrastructure by erecting 11 DC fast charging stations nationwide. Each site houses a trio of chargers with capacities ranging from 30kW to 150kW.

Six stations dot major cities like Mumbai and Bangalore, while five line key highway junctions including Delhi-Chandigarh and Mumbai-Surat. These stations, operational around the clock, cater to both Hyundai and non-Hyundai EV users and offer amenities such as coffee shops. Charging rates vary from Rs 18 to Rs 24 per unit, with access facilitated through Hyundai’s myHyundai smartphone app.

Additionally, plans are afoot to expand this network to over 10 new locations in 2024 and to establish 100 charging stations by 2027, as per a recent agreement with the Government of Tamil Nadu.
