Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Launched In India finally
Jeep has launched the fourth generation Wrangler at the price of Rs. 68.94 lakh (ex-showroom price). It is available in its five-door guise and in the top-spec Sahar Trim level only. The Deliveries of the car will start on March 15, 2020 as per the statement from the company.
“We already have an unprecedented order bank of eager customers ready to purchase our iconic off-roader. We are poised to complete delivery of our entire Rubicon import shipment to customers sooner than anticipated. Jeep Wrangler has been a really successful flagship product for us in India and it commands almost 67 per cent our India CBU (Completely Built Unit) sales, since its launch in 2016”
FCA India President and Managing Director Partha Datta Said:
The new Wrangler comes powered with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that pumps out 268bhp os power and 400Nm of torque. The power from the engine is sent to all four wheels through 8-speed torque-convertor automatic gearbox.
The interior of the Wrangler is more spacious and better equipped as compared to the before models. The model comes featured with a 7.0-inch multi-info display, an 8.4-inch infotainment system with AppleCarPlay and Android Auto, ambient lighting, rear AC vents, multiple 12V sockets, Dual-Zone climate control, anti-lock brakes, hill descent control, trailer sway control, a tyre-pressure monitoring system.
As for the safety, the car gets dual airbags for driver and passengers, ABS with EBS, ESC, electronic roll mitigation, hill-assist, traction control. Styling of the model includes a tweaked version of Jeep’s iconic seven slat front grille, LED headlamps with LED DRLs, larger tail-lamps, rear windscreen.
