Kia may launch Carnival MPV in 2020, it is now speculated that Kia may display Carnival MPV at 2020 Auto Expo which is expected to be held from February 7-12th 2019 at Greater Noida in India.
The Carnival is expected to be pitted against Innova Crysta and may be offered at a price tag of around Rs. 25 lakh. Carnival will be offering more premium features than the Crysta and may be launched in 7 and 8 seater configuration in India, the MPV may not be offered in 11-seater configurations.
The Kia Carnival will be powered by a BS-VI compliant, 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine which is capable of producing 202 PS of power and 441Nm of Torque. It may be mated to an 6 or 8-speed automatic transmission.
Kia Carnival will be available in dimensions of 5,115 mm in length, 1,985 mm in width and 1,740 mm in height with a wheelbase of 3,060 mm. The Carnival will get longer wheelbase than that of Innova Crysta.
The Kia Carnival is expected to featured UVO Connect in-car connectivity suite, panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, large touchscreen infotainment system and sport host of safety features.
