Kia Sonet outsells Seltos in H1 of 2024

Kia India has released its sales figures for June, showcasing a robust performance with 21,300 units sold. This represents a year-on-year growth of 9.8%, a significant increase from last year’s 19,391 units. Notably, the Kia Sonet played a crucial role, contributing 42% to the company’s sales in the first half of 2024, making it the best-selling model for the Korean automaker in India.

The Kia Sonet led the charge in sales for the first half of 2024, followed closely by the Kia Seltos and the Carens, which accounted for 32% and 25% of the sales, respectively. Overall, Kia India registered over 1.26 lakh unit sales in the first six months of CY2024. In addition to the domestic market, the brand also exported 12,026 units during the same period.
