KTM 200 Duke Launched At Rs 1.96 Lakh – Gets New LED Headlight

Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM has launched the updated 200 Duke with full-LED headlights in India. The updated KTM 200 Duke is priced at Rs 1.96 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

As mentioned earlier, the change in the updated KTM 200 Duke for 2023 comes in the form of the new full-led headlight setup pinched from the 390 Duke. The switch to a full-LED setup has resulted in a price hike of Rs 3,000 for the 200 Duke. The 200 Duke’s headlamp unit now consists of an array of 32 LEDs with 6 reflectors for the beam and an additional LED DRL unit. The addition of the full-LED headlamp brings the 200cc bike in line with the design of the rest of the Duke lineup.

Except for the new headlight the updated 200 Duke remains mechanically and cosmetically unchanged from the non-LED version. The new 2023 KTM 200 Duke continues to be offered in two colour options – Electronic Orange and Dark Silver Metallic.

The 2023 KTM 200 Duke continues to draw power from the 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC single-cylinder engine that pushes out 24.67bhp at 10,000rpm and 19.2Nm of peak torque at 8,000rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The KTM 200 Duke sports a split steel trellis frame suspended by USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear both provided by WP. The bike also features an aluminium swingarm and an underbelly exhaust setup.

The 200 Duke rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with 110/70 (front) and 150/60 (rear) tyres. Braking duties are carried out by a 300mm disc at the front and a 230mm rotor at the rear. The brakes are clamped down by Bybre callipers – 4-piston (front) and single-piston (rear) and are aided by dual-channel ABS.
