Lamborghini Huracan successor to get a new engine; specs revealed

Lamborghini has officially unveiled details about the upcoming successor to the Huracan, potentially named the Temerario. Internally codenamed the 634, this new model will transition from the naturally aspirated V10 engine to a twin-turbo V8 engine complemented by three hybrid motors. It will join Lamborghini’s High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) lineup.

The all-new 4.0-liter V8 engine, set to power the 2024 Lamborghini Temerario, will deliver an impressive 789bhp between 9,000 and 9,750 rpm, with a redline at 10,000 rpm. Additionally, it will produce a torque of 730Nm between 4,000 rpm and 7,000 rpm. The three electric motors will collectively provide an output of 149bhp and 300Nm of torque. The vehicle will feature an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, the same one used in the Revuelto.

The Lamborghini Huracan successor is slated for a global unveiling by the end of the year and will eventually be available in the Indian market. This model will be the third addition to Lamborghini’s ‘Direzione Cor Tauri’ initiative, following the Revuelto and the Urus SE, both of which were introduced earlier this year.
