Made-in-India Aprilia RS457 launched in the UK at Rs 6.8 lakh

Aprilia has recently unveiled the RS457 in the UK market, priced around Rs 6.8 lakh and originating from India. This model competes directly with the Kawasaki Ninja 400 and Yamaha YZF-R3, offering A2 license holders in the UK a wider selection.

While Aprilia anticipates strong sales, it’s worth noting that the RS457 is priced higher compared to many rivals, including the Yamaha YZF-R3. Featuring a robust 457cc parallel-twin cylinder engine with liquid cooling, producing approximately 47bhp and 43.5Nm of torque, the RS457 boasts advanced features such as a six-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch and optional bi-directional quick-shifter.

Its dynamic design includes 17-inch wheels, upside-down forks, mono-shock suspension, and dual-channel ABS, while full LED lighting and a five-inch TFT display enhance rider experience. Available in three colors globally, the RS457 is manufactured at Aprilia’s Baramati facility.
