Mahindra files patents for multiple electric SUVs
Design patents for several upcoming Mahindra electric vehicles (EVs) have been officially filed, indicating a series of launches in the coming months. The electric SUV lineup will kick off with the XUV.e8, expected to debut later this year, based on the XUV700 platform. Following this, the BE.05 is scheduled for launch in October of the next year, with test mules already making appearances.
The model, partly revealed in production-ready images, will also see an off-road variant named the BE.05 Rall-E. Both vehicles may feature a 60kWh battery pack coupled with dual electric motors. Subsequent releases include the BE.07 in October 2026 and the BE.09 the following year. The latter, a coupe SUV, will occupy the top tier among the trio, while the BE.07 will find its place between these models.
Patent images showcase distinctive elements such as a blocked-off grille, C-shaped LED DRLs, aerodynamic alloy wheel design, panoramic sunroof, and more. All three SUVs maintain their unique design elements and overall silhouette.
