The upcoming generation of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire has been leaked online ahead of its official launch, showcasing its complete exterior and interior design. Based on the latest Swift platform, the new Dzire will come with numerous updates, including a significantly different exterior appearance and a range of new features.

On the exterior, the Dzire will sport a redesigned front end with a large, vertically stacked grille, flanked by sleek headlamps on either side. The DRLs are integrated within the headlamp clusters, while the fog lamps are positioned on the bumper. Other standout design elements include a new set of alloy wheels, a sharp crease running along the door panels, body-colored ORVMs with integrated cameras, a shark-fin antenna, redesigned taillamps with black accents, and an electrically adjustable sunroof—a first in its segment.

Inside, the cabin will share several similarities with the Swift, featuring a free-standing infotainment screen, a multi-layered dashboard, automatic climate control, a flat-bottom three-spoke steering wheel, a semi-digital instrument panel, Type C and standard USB charging ports, a manual handbrake, cruise control, and rear AC vents for added comfort.

Under the hood, the new Dzire will be powered by Maruti Suzuki’s 1.2-litre Z-series three-cylinder petrol engine, paired with either a five-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. This powertrain was first introduced in the recently launched Swift.

Once launched, the next-gen Dzire will compete in the compact sedan segment against rivals like the Tata Tigor, Honda Amaze, and Hyundai Aura in the Indian market.
