Maruti Suzuki Fronx surpasses 2 lakh unit sales milestone

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx, launched in April 2023, has quickly become a popular choice in the Indian market, achieving an impressive sales milestone. In just 17 months since its debut, the Baleno-based crossover has sold 200,000 units.

The Fronx crossed the 100,000 and 150,000 unit sales marks within 10 and 14 months, respectively, demonstrating its strong demand. Initially launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 7.46 lakh, the current starting price is now Rs. 7.51 lakh (ex-showroom). The coupe-styled crossover is available in six variants: Sigma, Delta, Delta Plus, Delta Plus (O), Zeta, and Alpha.

Under the hood, the Maruti Fronx offers three engine options: a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.2-litre petrol+CNG, and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. Transmission choices include a five-speed manual, five-speed AMT, and a six-speed torque converter. The variety of options has helped the Fronx secure its place as a popular choice in the crossover segment.
