Maruti Suzuki officially launched its multi-purpose Eeco Van on Monday at the starting price of Rs. 4.64 lakh (ex-showroom price). The Eeco is Maruti’s fourth BS6 Compliant which is offered in S-CNG in India. The BS6 Eeco was introduced at AutoExpo 2020 with the Maruti’s ‘Mission Green Million’ initiative. As per the news, the Maruti has already sold over one million green vehicles including CNGs and Smart Hybrid in India.

The multi-purpose van has earned the distinction of being ideal for family travel, while simultaneously being a dependable business vehicle. Taking forward its legacy, Eeco BS6 S-CNG is designed to deliver optimum performance, safety, engine durability, convenience and mileage.”

The BS6 Eeco is offered in 12 variants, offered with 5-seater, 7-seater, Cargo and Ambulance variants. If we talk about the security, the van comes featured with Driver Airbags, ABS with EBD, Reverse Parking Sensors, Driver and Co-Driver Seat Belt Reminders, High-Speed Alert System and other security features.
As per the reports, Maruti Suzuki has sold over 6.7 lakh units of the Eeco since 2010. The Carmaker is planning to sell the next one million green vehicles in the next couple of years under it’s ‘Mission Green Million’ initiative.
