Maserati GranTurismo launched in India at Rs. 2.72 crore
Maserati, the renowned Italian luxury car manufacturer, has introduced the second generation of its iconic GranTurismo in India. This two-door sports coupe is available in two distinct variants: the Modena, priced at Rs. 2.72 crore, and the Trofeo, priced at Rs. 2.90 crore. While this latest iteration of the GranTurismo is currently offered only with petrol engines, an all-electric version, the Folgore, is set to make its debut in 2025.
In terms of design, the new GranTurismo maintains much of the classic styling and silhouette that defined its predecessor. Key exterior features include vertically stacked LED headlamps with integrated daytime running lights (DRLs), a sleek, long bonnet that gracefully dips into the front nose, and an oval-shaped grille adorned with the Maserati emblem. The design is further enhanced by functional air curtains, multi-spoke high-profile alloy wheels, LED taillights, and quad exhaust tips.
Inside, the GranTurismo is equipped with a host of modern features. These include a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, a three-spoke steering wheel, and a dedicated center console display for climate control and seat adjustments, ensuring a luxurious and technologically advanced driving experience.
Under the hood, both the Modena and Trofeo variants are powered by a 3.0-liter V6 engine. The Modena delivers an impressive 490bhp and 600Nm of torque, while the Trofeo variant is tuned to produce a more powerful 550bhp and 650Nm of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard across both variants, ensuring smooth and responsive performance.
With its blend of classic design, advanced features, and powerful performance, the second-generation Maserati GranTurismo continues to embody the brand’s legacy of luxury and sophistication, now with an eye toward future innovation.
