The AMG S63 Coupe is an S class luxury model of Mercedes and it is launched in India at Rs 2.55 Crore. Let’s have a look at the class of the car.
Design
The exterior design of the car looks quite exotic and classy in its own sense, but that doesn’t to be mentioned as its Mercedes accompanied by AMG.
The fron t is carved and embossed like a typical Mercedes design with air vents at the bottom and a larger grill at the front bumper makes it sportier. The car has only two doors as it is more like a sports sedan than a typical sedan. From the side the car gives a royal touch to the design due to its continuity of design and perfectly adjusted flow lines. The rear looks quite sporty but does not have a typical S-class taillight engraved at it.
This was all about the exterior, talking about interior you can blind foldedly trust on Mercedes for premium interiors of a car. The flowing twin-touchscreen layout, Nappa leather, AMG graphics infotainment and not to forget AMG wheel are the key features of its interior.
Performance
The name AMG accompanied with Mercedes-Benz itself suggests that the car will be a beast in performance as well as have a class luxury.
The AMG S-63’s engine is a 4.0 liters V8 engine which can produce up to 612 PS and having the peak torque of 900 Nm. The car can reach a 100 mark in 3.5 seconds having a top speed of 250 kmph. Don’t worry, more speed enthusiasts can get up to 300 kmph with an additional AMG driver’s pack.
To eliminate turbo lag, the engine uses twin-scroll turbochargers and a hot-vee configuration. Cylinder deactivation technology is also integrated into the engine to improve the fuel efficiency of the car.
These overwhelming engine specifications are mated with a 9-speed automatic gearbox to deliver the power its desired destiny.
