Mercedes Benz to launch AMG GLC 43 Coupé on November 3
Mercedes Benz India on Thursday said that it will be launching the new AMG GLC 43 Coupé in India on November 3rd, a little over a year after the car was unveiled globally in July 2019. This decision comes after the company recently launched the EQC EV.
The AMG GLC 43 Coupé will be the first Made-in-India AMG as the carmaker has picked the CKD route for the new offering.
The coupe will come equipped with an AMG 3.0-litre V6 bi-turbo engine that belts out 395 PS of maximum power and offers a peak torque of 520 Nm. The engine is paired with an AMG Speedshift 9-speed TCT (torque-clutch transmission) and offers a 4MATIC four-wheel drive with a front/rear axle split of 31% to 69%.
Moreover, the car can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 4.9 seconds. achieving a top speed of 250 kmph. There are 5 driving modes-Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Individual on the AMG GLC 43 Coupé. The customized modes will offer a seamless riding experience.
Martin Schwenk will be launching the AMG GLC 43 Coupé virtually on the company’s official website and will be priced lower than the previous models by about 15- 20 lakhs thanks to the local manufacturing.
