MG Motor has captured significant attention with its Windsor EV, not only due to its competitive pricing but also because of the introduction of its innovative Battery as a Service (BaaS) program. This service, initially launched with the Windsor, has now been extended to MG’s entire electric vehicle lineup, including the ZS EV and the Comet EV, offering flexible battery leasing options to customers.
MG has officially begun delivering the Windsor EV to customers across India. Priced from Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the Windsor EV is available in three variants: Excite, Exclusive, and Essence. The color palette for the Windsor includes Turquoise Green, Clay Beige, Pearl White, and Starburst Black, offering buyers a selection of stylish finishes.
Performance and Range
Under the hood, the Windsor EV is powered by a 38kWh battery pack paired with a single electric motor, delivering a claimed range of 332km on a full charge. The electric motor produces 134bhp and 200Nm of torque, providing ample performance for city and highway driving. The vehicle also comes with four driving modes – Eco, Eco+, Normal, and Sport – allowing drivers to tailor their driving experience to their preferences.
