MG to launch Gloster on October 8
MG Gloster is India’s first Autonomous Level 1 Premium SUV and is pitted against the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, Mahindra Alturas G4, Skoda Kodiaq.
Powering the Gloster is a FCA-sourced BS6 compliant 2.0-litre diesel engine capable of generating 218 BHP of power and 480 Nm of torque. The engine could be mated with an 8-speed automatic transmission unit.
Gloster SUV will come with independent suspension at the front and a 5-link suspension at the back. In addition to this, the SUV will receive host of safety and convenience features such as advanced driver assist system (ADAS) such as lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning, etc. The SUV would also come with shift-on-fly 4WD system.
The SUV will receive a large 12.3-inch infotainment system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It will also receive 3-zone auto AC, panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable seats, etc.
