New-gen Honda Amaze design leaked ahead of launch
As we approach its official launch next week, the 2024 Honda Amaze has been fully revealed through leaked images, showcasing a refreshed design and updated features. The new iteration of this sub-four-metre sedan takes significant inspiration from the current-generation Honda City, which is already available in India.
Exterior Changes
The front of the 2024 Amaze receives a complete redesign, featuring LED projector headlamps paired with integrated DRLs, a new chrome-insert grille, updated LED fog lamps, and a reworked front bumper. While the side profile largely mirrors that of the outgoing model, the car now sports new machined alloy wheels that add a modern touch to its overall look.
At the rear, the new Amaze continues its City-inspired design, with sleek LED taillights, a rear bumper featuring horizontally-positioned reflectors, and a shark-fin antenna. Spy images also reveal the car’s beige upholstery, giving the interior a fresh, light feel.
Engine and Performance
Under the hood, the 2024 Honda Amaze is expected to retain the reliable 1.2-litre petrol engine from the previous model. This engine will continue to be offered with both a five-speed manual transmission and a CVT, delivering 89bhp and 110Nm of torque in its current setup.
Once launched, the new Amaze will compete with rivals in the sub-four-metre sedan segment, including the newly launched Maruti Dzire, Tata Tigor, and Hyundai Aura.
With these updates, the 2024 Honda Amaze is poised to strengthen its position in the competitive sedan market, combining familiar design elements with modern touches to appeal to a broad range of buyers.
