New-gen Maruti Dzire to pack more features over the new Swift
Maruti Suzuki Dzire is set to receive a significant update this year, marking the introduction of its fourth generation. Like the upcoming Swift, the compact sedan will undergo a comprehensive revamp with fresh exterior styling and an enhanced cabin experience. With this new iteration, the Dzire aims to offer more than just increased boot space compared to the Swift, promising a host of new features and a distinctive visual identity.
The new Maruti Dzire is expected to boast a richer feature set and advanced technology compared to the new Swift. Recent spy shots reveal exciting additions such as a 360-degree surround camera and an electrically adjustable single-pane sunroof, likely to be highlighted as first-in-segment offerings given the absence of these features in its current competition.
Additionally, the sedan will showcase updated styling cues as evident from the spy images. The front fascia will sport a new grille, redesigned bumper, repositioned fog lamps, and sleeker headlamps. Redesigned alloy wheels are also anticipated compared to its hatchback counterpart.
On the mechanical front, the Dzire is likely to adopt a new Z-series 1.2-liter NA petrol engine, paired with a five-speed manual and an AMT unit. Select variants may also offer a factory-fitted CNG kit option. The updated Dzire is slated for launch in the second half of the year, following the debut of the new-gen Swift hatchback.
