Nissan Magnite facelift official bookings open!

Nissan India has officially opened bookings for the facelifted version of the Magnite. Customers can reserve their vehicle by visiting their nearest Nissan dealership or through the brand’s online booking platform. Deliveries are scheduled to begin on 5 October 2024, just one day after the model’s official launch.

In terms of design, the updated Magnite will retain its familiar shape, but with significant updates to both its front and rear profiles. The front fascia will feature a redesigned, sleeker grille, revamped LED headlamps, a refreshed bumper, and updated LED daytime running lights (DRLs). The side profile is expected to remain largely unchanged, with the addition of a new set of alloy wheels to enhance its stance. At the rear, the updates may include a redesigned bumper and refreshed taillights.

Feature-wise, the new Magnite is anticipated to receive a larger infotainment system, wireless smartphone connectivity, an updated interior theme with a reworked dashboard design, and the introduction of a sunroof to add a premium touch to this new iteration.

Mechanically, the facelifted Magnite will likely continue with the existing engine options: a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. Transmission options will remain the same, with choices including a five-speed manual, an automated manual transmission (AMT), and a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Once launched, the new Nissan Magnite will continue to compete with rivals such as the Renault Kiger, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, and Citroen Basalt in the subcompact SUV segment.
