Japanese carmaker Nissan’s first compact SUV in India, the Magnite seems to have able to create impulse in the sub-four meter SUV segment. According to an announcement by the company, Nissan Magnite has received over 5,000 bookings in just 5 days of its launch.
Priced agressively at a starting price of Rs. 4.99 lakh, Nissan Magnite was launched earlier this month. Magnite is offered in four variants, these include- XE, XL, XV and XV Premium. Apparently, 60% customers of the bookings for the Magnite seems to have come from top-spec XV and XV Premium variants.
Moreover, above 30% of the customers have preferred CVT gearbox over MT. Surprisingly, above 40% of Nissan’s customers have booked Magnite through the brand’s digital channels. Noteworthy, the introductory price benefit is valid till December 31st, 2020. Post introductory period, the price of base variant will be set at Rs. 5.54 lakh.
The SUV is offered in 3-cyclinder 1.0-liter petrol mill with Naturally Aspirated and Turbo petrol type. Nissan will not be offering diesel variant on this SUV.
