Nissan Magnite subcompact SUV will be launched on December 2 in India

Nissan Motors is all set to launch its subcompact SUV Magnite in the country on December 2,2020. Nissan Magnite is the first sub-4 metre SUV from the Japanese carmaker in the country. The company has already commenced production of the Nissan Magnite, and it will start reaching dealerships soon. The Company will begin the bookings on December 2,2020. Few dealerships in Mumbai and Delhi are already accepting unofficial pre-bookings of the car at a token amount of Rs. 25,000. The Nissan Magnite is expected to be priced at Rs.5.50 lakh -Rs.9.55 lakh. (ex-showroom price).

Powering with the petrol engine options- a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated motor and a 1.0-liter turbo petrol unit. The 1.0-liter naturally aspirated motor is tuned to deliver 71bhp of power and 96Nm of peak torque, the turbo-petrol unit is able to produce 99bhp of power and 160Nm of peak torque. Both of the engines are mated with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Turbo-petrol unit comes with an optional CVT automatic unit.

Featuring with wireless-charger, air-purifier, ambient mood lighting, puddle lamps and high-end speakers from JBL, 16-inch diamond-cut alloys, LED daytime running lamps, 8-inch floating touch screen with Wireless AppleCarPlay and Android Auto, 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, rear-view camera, and push-button start. The top-end variant will be featured with LED bi-projector headlamps, cruise control, 360-degree camera, tire-pressure monitoring system, and sporty interior.

The Nissan Magnite will be offered in four different variants- XE, XL, XV, and XV Premium. The company will also offer an optional ‘Tech Pack’ with the XV and XV Premium variants. More details will be updated soon.
