Skoda Elroq compact SUV to feature Skoda’s new design language
Škoda has recently shared exciting new details about its all-new Elroq, the first production model to embrace the brand’s “Modern Solid” design language. A fresh exterior sketch of the Elroq showcases key design elements, including a revamped front fascia featuring Škoda lettering and Matrix-LED headlights seamlessly integrated into the bumper. The design is further enhanced by sophisticated dark chrome accents, offering a bold and modern visual identity.
One of the most striking elements in the sketch is the newly redesigned front end. Replacing the traditional Škoda grille is a flat, wide structure that creates a streamlined, contemporary appearance. The distinctive split headlight setup adds further character, with the slim upper segment flowing into the wings of the vehicle. Adding to the sleek design, the bonnet prominently displays the Škoda lettering in dark chrome, solidifying the Elroq’s status as the first model to represent Škoda’s new corporate identity.
At the rear, the Elroq features a roof spoiler paired with slim LED taillights that enhance the vehicle’s aerodynamic and modern appeal. The rear design is further accentuated by dark chrome elements, particularly the centrally placed Škoda lettering on the tailgate. The Elroq is set to be 4.5 meters long, making it larger than the Kushaq and giving it a more commanding presence on the road.
Built on the MEB platform, the Elroq is expected to share several key components with its more premium electric counterparts, such as the Enyaq. With its modern design and advanced technology, the Elroq positions itself as a significant player in the evolving electric vehicle market.
