Tata Harrier EV spotted with production-spec alloy wheels

Tata Motors recently unveiled the Curvv coupe SUV siblings for the Indian market, and the carmaker is simultaneously gearing up for its next major offering. New spy shots provide us with a glimpse of the upcoming Harrier EV, which is slated for release early next year.

Although the Harrier EV test mule was heavily camouflaged, it did reveal a new design for the alloy wheels, identical to those showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo. Aside from this, the model retains several design elements from the facelifted Harrier that launched late last year.

The Tata Harrier EV is poised to be one of the 10 electric vehicles that the brand aims to introduce by 2025. There are also expectations that the Safari EV will be launched alongside the Harrier EV by the end of the current financial year.

While Tata Motors has not yet disclosed the technical specifications of the electrified Harrier, industry insiders anticipate that it will debut with a large battery pack and an electric motor, potentially offering a claimed range of 600 km on a single full charge. Additionally, an AWD version featuring a dual motor setup could be in the pipeline.

The arrival of the Harrier EV marks a significant milestone for Tata Motors as it continues to expand its electric vehicle portfolio and solidify its presence in the rapidly evolving automotive landscape.
