Tata Motors Global Wholesales up by 33% for Q2FY23 over Q2FY22
Q2FY22 carried an element of uncertainty post the second wave of the COVID-19 Pandemic, though market conditions were headed North
Tata Motors has announced the Q2FY23 wholesale figures, which stand at 3,35,976 units. This figure represents a growth of 33% over the global wholesales of Q2FY22 and includes the sales figures of JLR and CJLR (Chery Automobiles and Jaguar Land Rover).
Global wholesales of all Tata Motors commercial vehicles and the Tata Daewoo range in Q2FY23 were at 1,03,226 nos., higher by 16%, over Q2FY22. Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in Q2FY23 were at 2,32,750 nos., higher by 43% as compared to Q2FY22.
Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 89,899 vehicles. Jaguar wholesales for the quarter were 16,631 vehicles, while Land
Rover wholesales for the quarter were 73,268 vehicles.
Tata Motors has launched a host of new cars and model lines since FY23, which seem to drive growth for the Indian automaker. Vehicles like Tata Tiago EV, and Tata Yodha CV Pickup, as well as special edition models like the Jet Edition line-up of Tata SUVs marked new launches of vehicles for India. Further, New Land Rover models like the all-new flagship 2023 Range Rover, and it’s sibling the Range Rover Sport launched globally and very recently, in India.
