Tata Nexon now has the widest range of powertrains in India

Tata Motors revolutionized its lineup with the introduction of the Nexon in 2017. This sub-four-meter SUV marked a significant shift in the homegrown automaker’s design philosophy, paving the way for subsequent models like the Punch, Harrier, Safari, and the recently launched Curvv. The Nexon’s design served as the foundation for the evolved styling of these models, showcasing Tata’s modern design language.

One of the Nexon’s key strengths is its wide range of powertrain options, making it the only model in India to offer such versatility. Initially available in petrol, diesel, and electric (EV) variants, the Nexon now includes a CNG version, adding to its already diverse lineup.

Among the powertrains, the petrol variant of the Nexon is the most affordable, with a starting price of Rs. 8 lakh. The newly introduced CNG variant begins at Rs. 9 lakh, while the diesel version starts at Rs. 10 lakh. The Nexon EV, which received a major facelift last year, comes with a base price of Rs. 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
