The Iconic Hindustan Ambassador Recreated Digitally
Hindustan Ambassador is an iconic vehicle that was the first car manufactured and sold in India and remained in production from 1957 to 2014.
Hindustan Ambassador has been digitally reimagined in these latest images. Now, the Amby is arguably the most well-known moniker in the Indian automobile industry. Having remained in production for 57 long years is a feat that is not heard of all that often even in the international markets. Hence, calling it iconic might be an understatement. There were rumours a while ago about the Ambassador making a re-entry into our market but that is not confirmed yet. Until then, let us relish the presence of it in the virtual space.
Hindustan Ambassador Reimagined Digitally
These illustrations have been rendered by Amol Satpute with @TUGBOTZ. The exterior design is completely modern and contemporary. The overall silhouette with a long bonnet and boot from the original Ambassador has been carried forward but the design language is ultra-modern and elegant. The trademark vertical element on the edge of the bonnet is a neat touch reminiscent of the original Amby from the past.
Apart from that, the front features the latest elements like sleek LED DRLs, a colossal grille with chrome embellishments, round LED DRLs/fog lamps, smart bumper completing the minimalist exterior. On the sides, there are hints of chrome elements on the fender, side body cladding and window frames. One can also see the sharp creases on the sides with a prominent hunch at the rear fender to make it appear wider than it is.
