The TVS Akula concept that we had been waiting for, is here christened as TVS Apache RR310
Motorcycle enthusiasts were waiting hot on heels for the Akula concept TVS showed a while back. The concept showed a lot of promise as a hardcore track machine and carbon fiber body works. TVS claims the RR310 to have the lowest drag coefficient in its class-0.26. The engine is mated to a 6-Speed gearbox. In addition to that, the bike also gets an advanced trellis frame for precise track handling. To aid the handling traits further, the bigger Apache also gets Dual Channel ABS, which proves to be a big boon to riders.Shod at the wheels are Michelin Street Sport tyres.
The engine gets a unique reverse inclined DOHC (double overhead cam) engine with LCOC (liquid-cooled oil coolant) technology; which facilitates a compact layout for an ideal power-to-weight ratio and better mass centralization.
The feature list also includes bi-LED twin projector headlamps, race-inspired vertical speedo-cum-tachometer.
The bike is available in two colors, Racing Red and Sinister Black.
The TVS Apache RR310 is lookin great, and we’ll ride it soon and let you know if the ride holds good to the great looks! Stay Tuned!
