TVS has unveiled the 2024 Apache RR310 in India, with a starting price of Rs 2,75,000 ex-showroom. This latest model boasts significant enhancements in design, performance, and features. Here’s a comprehensive look at everything you need to know about this revamped bike.

Design

The TVS Apache RR 310 showcases new fairing-mounted winglets while maintaining the overall design of its predecessor. However, it features updated Apache graphics on the fairing for a fresh look.As noted earlier, the bike is available in three striking color options: Racing Red, Bomber Grey, and Race Replica. The Racing Red is reminiscent of the vibrant hue offered before, while Bomber Grey is a fresh addition that sets itself apart from the previous black variant. This new shade boasts a dark grey finish, adorned with the same Apache graphics found on the Racing Red.Another exciting design update on the bike is the inclusion of a transparent clutch cover, which enhances its sporty aesthetic and gives it the vibe of a high-capacity supersport machine.

The Race Replica color scheme remains unchanged from the previous version, showcasing the iconic racing-inspired liveries that have become synonymous with the Apache RR 310.

Engine/Performance

The TVS Apache RR 310 is driven by a powerful 312cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, reverse inclined engine, now delivering an impressive 38PS at 9,800rpm and 29Nm at 7,900rpm. To put this in context, the previous generation RR 310 generated 34PS and 27.3Nm, while the TVS Apache RTR 310 offers 35.6PS at 9,700rpm and 28.7Nm at 6,650rpm.

To achieve the impressive increase of 4PS and 1.7Nm over the previous generation RR 310, TVS has optimized the air intake for enhanced efficiency. Additionally, the engine features a new aluminum forged piston that allows for smoother revving and increased power output.

Furthermore, the bike now comes equipped with a bi-directional quickshifter as standard, with the exception of the base Racing Red variant.

Features

The 2024 TVS Apache RR 310 is equipped with a 5-inch vertical TFT console featuring TVS’ SmartXonnect technology. This advanced display provides essential information such as speed, tachometer readings, time, fuel level, trip details, and odometer readings, along with race telemetry for an enhanced riding experience.

With the BTO edition and the Dynamic Pro kit, the bike features RT-DSC (Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control), TVS’s take on traction control. Additional electronic enhancements include a 6-axis IMU that provides a suite of riding aids such as cornering ABS, cornering traction control, cruise control, cornering cruise control, wheelie control, hill-hold control, and stoppie control.

The 2024 TVS Apache RR 310 competes with other standout supersport models in the market, including the KTM RC 390, Keeway K300R, and BMW G 310 RR.Overall, this update is quite impressive, with significant enhancements in performance and a host of new features that are sure to delight riders.
