Upcoming Range Of KTM Bikes , Showcased In EICMA

KTM has unveiled the names of the motorcycles set to be introduced at EICMA 2024, including the highly anticipated KTM 390 Adventure R and the 390 Enduro R. The brand recently announced its participation in EICMA 2024, which is scheduled to be held from November 5 to 10, 2024, in Milan, Italy.

The KTM 390 Adventure R and the 390 Enduro R are poised for launch in India, having been spotted undergoing testing on numerous occasions. The new 390 Adventure showcases a markedly different design from its predecessor, embracing a rally-inspired aesthetic. It boasts vertically stacked twin-projector LED headlights and an imposing windscreen, which together enhance its adventurous demeanor.

The motorcycle features a newly designed trellis main frame derived from the KTM 390 Duke, albeit with a distinct subframe. Additionally, an intriguing aspect is the innovative rally-tower style instrument console, which adds a unique flair to the bike’s overall appearance.

In contrast, the Enduro 390 will embody a true dual-sport ethos, featuring an enduro-inspired compact headlight and an elevated front fender. Its design will be characterized by sharp lines and more streamlined tank extensions, complementing its adventurous aesthetic.

Both models will be powered by the same 398.63cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, generating 46 PS and 39 Nm of torque. While the engine will maintain its core specifications, it is anticipated to be tuned differently for each motorcycle, tailored to enhance the adventure and enduro riding experience.

We anticipate that the 390 Adventure R and the 390 Enduro will make their debut in India by late 2024 or in the first half of 2025, with an expected price point around ₹3.8 lakh, ex-showroom.

In addition, KTM plans to showcase several of their higher-capacity offerings, along with the brand’s innovative AMT (automatic manual transmission) gearbox. Notably, they will also unveil the KTM 990 RC R, marking the brand’s return to road-legal full-faired big bikes after nearly 15 years.

As for the upcoming unveils, we can look forward to the 2025 1390 Super Adventure R and S Evo, the 2025 1380 Super Duke GT, and the 990 Duke R. However, it’s worth noting that these models are unlikely to be launched in India in the near future.
